Traffic Sign Meeting Meeting
Monday June 3rd, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
1660 Ringling Blvd, Commissioners’ Chambers

Curtiss, Markridge and Post Road drivers….Interested in managing the traffic on your streets?

In response to resident concerns, the Gulf Gate Community Association’s Traffic Safety Committee has met with the County Traffic Engineering Department to plan calming measures on Curtiss, Markridge and Post by adding stop signs to key intersections and posting more speed limit signage. Doing so will slow traffic, and discourage the growing number of vehicles seeking cut-throughs by using our neighborhood streets at excessive speeds.

Protect your neighborhood! The GGCA Board encourages you to make yourself heard. Come express your opinion. Can’t make the meeting? Email mwaden@scgov.net. The County Traffic Advisory Group will consider all input and rule on the proposal in the near future.
