WHAT IS THE MY FLORIDA SAFE HOME PROGRAM?

This is a Florida state-sponsored program to help homeowners protect their homes from wind-borne Debris.  Roof reinforcement, exterior doors, windows, and more. 

The program consists of two primary components:
– FREE WIND MITIGATION HOME INSPECTIONS
– MITIGATION MATCHING GRANTS for home hardening improvements.

Some eligibility requirements include:
– Single-family built before 2008.    
– Homesteaded and home value under $700,000
